to Shelter Animals
The animals at the Humane Society for Greater Savannah, although taken care of very well by the staff and volunteers, are understandably in a stressful environment. Many have already experienced some level of abuse in their lives, have been abandoned, or are simply scared.
Sue Finkle, a local Reiki Practitioner and Yoga Instructor, is offering the Savannah community another way in which to help the animals at the Humane Society. For a reduced rate, Sue will perform Reiki treatments on cats and dogs at the Sallie Mood Drive location.
Reiki is a kind of energy healing that helps animals, as well as humans, restore an overall state of balance. A treatment will help the individual feel more relaxed, less stressed, and can help to speed up the healing process after surgery. For every $40 received, Sue will visit the Humane Society for Greater Savannah, located on Sallie Mood Drive, and perform a full Reiki treatment on one of the animals in need.
